Masters worlds application Deadline change

This year there are three meets within a two month span that tap into overlapping pools of athletes. The options for Masters Athletes are primarily impacted, with Masters Worlds falling in this three-meet-spread. To this end, the deadline for IPF Masters Worlds 2026 in Reno, Nevada has been moved to May 20, 2026. This is the same deadline as for the Commonwealth Championships in Winnipeg.

The intention is to allow lifters to know in a more timely fashion which team or teams they might make, thereby permitting them to decide on their competition schedule more readily and save the administrative complications that could arise from people bouncing from team to team if the teams were sequentially selected.
