Canada Powerlifting (CANPL) Identified Powerlifting Centres (IPCs):
Canada Powerlifting provides a list of specific independent training facilities nationwide as possessing competition-standard equipment needed for training in the sport of powerlifting. These independent facilities are not considered members of, or affiliated to, or licensed by CANPL or any of its member (Provincial) organizations. They provide a physical location for our athletes to engage in self-directed training. These gyms are not employed or contracted by CANPL and are not monitored or supervised by CANPL. They are listed as a convenience to athletes who wish to know what facilities in an area provide equipment suitable for competition training.
Gyms that wish to be listed as Identified Powerlifting Centres on the CANPL site must meet the following requirements:
-
Company is responsible for a $200 one time payment to CANPL to complete process.
-
The company must display the banner in clear view inside.
-

The facility will meet all the requirements listed above.
