Changes to the dates of Nationals 2025 and onwards
In 2022, the CPU tried an adjusted schedule for Nationals. After evaluating this trial calendar and upon recommendation of the Competitions Committee, at the 2024 AGM, the Member Provinces and CPU Executive voted to return Nationals and Regionals to their previous timing.

Nationals 2024 will be held in Summerside, PE, from September 9-14, 2024 as previously scheduled.

Nationals 2025 will be held in Moose Jaw, SK, from February 23-March 2, 2025.

In subsequent years all teams will be decided based on Nationals, barring unforeseen scheduling conflicts.
Should positions for a Team not be filled from 2025 Nationals, athletes who submit Nationals 2024 results may be selected per the CPU policy on National Team Selection.

As the Regional meets for 2024 have already been held, there will not be Regionals in the fall of 2024. To this end, the CPU is granting a one-time allowance or bye on this requirement in the Nationals pathway for Nationals 2025 only, to those who meet the following criteria:
have not yet competed at Nationals,
have not yet achieved a total at Regionals,
have achieved a 2025 National Qualifying Standard (please note that these are revised for 2025) ,
have competed in at least two competitions,
AND have satisfied the requirements of their Provincial Associations.
